The Alhambra Theatre is a 1920's architectural style Theatre, with hints of art deco throughout. The theatre, which opened in 1922 and celebrated its centenary year in 2022 is Fully restored and upgraded, versatile with many original features. 2000 capacity standing and seated, 1,200 fully seated with a curtaining systems that allows the seated capacity to be reduced to 900,700 & 500. Full professional light and sound rig and removable traditional orchestra pit. Our stage is 12.5m x20m, with 7 large and varying styles of dressing rooms and band room & 3 distinct and separate bars.
