TayScreen has supported productions based at studios from Pinewood in southern England to Edinburgh and Cumbernauld in Scotland in addition to international productions. The UK offers extensive purpose-built studios and alternative stage space that host long and short-term productions of all sizes.
The Fife Tay region is within easy access of studios in the Edinburgh and Glasgow areas. There are Virtual Production facilities in Dundee and a range of production facilities including those at Abertay and Dundee Universities and Dundee & Angus, Fife and Perth UHI Colleges.

Production in the Fife Tay region qualifies for the UK’s creative tax reliefs that are seen as the most transparent and inclusive in the world, with payable cash rebates of up to 29.25% on qualifying UK expenditure.
Productions are advised to engage with the British Film Institute (BFI) or the British Film Commission (BFC). They can provide guidance on the UK’s competitive and inclusive tax reliefs for qualifying films and high-end TV (HETV). TayScreen can help you to engage with them.
Reliefs are available for production of films, high-end TV, animation, children's TV, VFX and games. There are also tax incentives for Research & Development (R&D).

We have a Production Code that has been developed with the Councils of Angus, Dundee, Fife and Perthshire and organisations like Police Scotland.
