Immersive experience

Immersive Arts, the 3-year UK-wide programme supporting artists to make and share immersive arts - is launching with free Inspiration Days for anyone interested in finding out more and free Funding Webinars for artists and creatives.

Over the next 3 years Immersive Arts will be awarding £3.6 million in grant funding to artists based in the UK, the first of three rounds of funding will open in October 2024. This series of free Funding Information Webinars and Inspiration Days, which will be presented both online and in person across the UK, aim to help potential artists and creatives to decide which of the available funds they might apply for, to meet the team, and to ask any questions.

Immersive Arts is led by the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), with the lead hub at Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol, and Watershed as Executive Producer.

Working in close partnership with University of Bristol and cultural organisations in Belfast and Derry (Nerve Centre), Cardiff (Wales Millennium Centre) and Glasgow (Cryptic), Immersive Arts will generate a rich programme of inclusive and accessible opportunities, breaking down the barriers for artists of all backgrounds to engage with immersive tools.

Immersive Arts will be awarding £3.6 million in grant funding to artists based in the UK between 2024 and 2027, with the first of three rounds of funding opening in October 2024.

There are webinars in October. Inspiration Days will be held in Glasgow and other locations in September 2024 and online in October.
