UK government announces 60 pilot areas for local TV licences
Local TV licences look set to be awarded early next year through a competitive selection process. Ofcom will run this once the required legislation goes through. The list of potential locations and coverage is in their "Pioneer Locations" publication. There's also an opportunity to comment with the consultation runing tom 23rd September.
